Ephesians 3:20 NASB
To Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

We have a beautiful invitation in Christ to dream bigger dreams, ask bolder questions, and imagine greater things in prayer. He is able to do far more that anything we can ask or think! We are like little kids who cannot grasp the scope of our parents’ abilities.

Whether or not we can imagine it, we know the nature of God. We know how generous, kind, redemptive, and just He is. We can trust His character to meet us in the things we don’t have words to ask for. According to God’s power at work within us, we will taste and see the goodness of God as we learn to rest in trust.

Lord,
Show me Your goodness as I walk with You. Open my eyes to Your greatness and strengthen my faith. Forgive me for the times I have limited Your power or expected too little of You.
